Is it true that Josh retired from racing at the end of 2002 to pursue a career in acting? I heard that last weekend...

I saw him last weekend; he came to our club to lead the Everest Ride and said he had just been out in CA training, and that his racing season was about to begin. He did mention that he had been on QVC Friday night and that it was a bit "surreal", so if that's what you mean by acting...

Acting just may be a better gig for him. I haven't seen his name in the top three in any races over the past three years. He may be a pro, but he is an unranked and non-producing one.

I know he didn't race at all last year and doesn't plan to this year. I was told he does have an agent in California.

Easy now, lack of results isn't the same as non-production. Having said that, I'm not sure if he's ever made a UCI Division 3 team, which for many is the minimal definition of pro. However, others would argue that "pro" merely means getting paid to ride a bike. I guess my point is: who cares?

I have it on good account that Josh will retire from biking to pursue an acting career. He was offered a role as a messianic cycling instructor who invents a different form of class. Eventually he instructs in a facility and the members turn him in and he is not really crucified, but given a really long email to read about contraindicated movements. After being sibjected to several long rides with rap music, he falls off the bike and while fainting he mutters, "Forgive them Johnny, for they know not what they are doing".

The movie is called "The Passion of the Bikes". The Jews are blamed for something, but I won't reveal what it is. You have to see it for yourself and make up your own minds.

I am proud to be managing Josh's career. He is a multi-leveled talent. He will be announcing a new discovery soon in stem cell research, in addition to scripting a Broadway musical and replacing Chandler on the new version of Friends.

Thank-You..I was able to contact Josh@zoolanderinc.com and apparently most of what Satori heard is true. I guess he has to take advantage of the opportunity before him.

Hey BF,
Nice picture of Josh. Of course that was prior to his blue-hair period, but still captures his essence.

I see the same exclusivity and bashing that lived mightily on the other site has made it's way here. Don't any of you see that it's the snotty attitude of Johnny G instructors that is ramming it into the ground. So many of the intelligent, positive posters left. If you truly want a forum with some intelligent things happening why not start by being a little less judgemental. I can see why many people are afraid to post questions. I don't understand why any professional would use a public forum to bash another. Our job is to help people. I'm all for having fun. But, being more inviting and positive would take this forum a long way.

Bomb,
Know your history, know the difference between "judgemental" and humor, most of us do.

Was it wrong to have him replace Chandler? Would Ross have been better?

Then things wouldn't be rammed into the ground?

LOL, you guys are killin' me..

Someone emailed me asking if I thought "Guest" was "Velodromeracer."

Obviously this is not the case, as Guest's posts--whether or not we agree with his/her opinion--are articulate, use correct syntax and grammar and he/she hasn't used a swearword yet. :D

This just in....Josh was seen meeting with John Kerry to discuss a position of unnamed status.

I believe we will be announcing a new line of jewelry Josh will be also selling on QVC called "The Mt. Everest Cubic Zirconium Collection". This will be released in conjunction with the "Mt. Everest Cookbook", "The Mt. Everest Home Ice Cream Machine", and the all time favorite, "The Mt. Everest Multi-purpose beach chair-barbeque".

Suppiles are limited. Act now. Don't wait. Operators are standing by now.

Wow, we've come a long way, baby. Normally the Jews are blamed for EVERYTHING...getting blamed for just SOMETHING sounds like a big improvement!!! Can I get an AMEN????

:D :D :D

(PS: I don't think we've been blamed for global warming...yet...)
