Ok ,I was just wondering how many times you may post as "Guest"
before having to join this fine forum ???

I have no idea but I wish it would prompt me to log in before posting as a guest. I am used to being prompted.

I don't know how many, but I wish there WERE a limit, that way the *ussies (rhymes with wussies) would HAVE to post under their name. If they got enuf guts to say it, at least attach a name!!

We're keeping the forums as open as possible for the time being - meaning 'Guest' can post.
The original "session" time was set to 1 hour, meaning if you haven't posted or interacted with the site for over an hour, your login was automatically expired. Thusly, if you posted past that hour, you post as Guest. ARGH! This bit me as well a couple of times.
So - I increased the session time to 16 hours ... now if you want to leave your computer on and logged in to the forums now all day you will stay "logged in". That should help to reduce the accidental Guest posts.
Also remember if you're "logged in" in a public computer to actually log out or strangers will be able to post for you on that machine after you leave.

HAHA.. I did it again. Is there a way to be promted by the board to enter a username/password or select guest (if you are not logged in?).
