I am looking for great jump songs, on a flat and on a hill. Any suggestions?
Great Tune for Jumps !!!!

Babar:
This is one of my all time favorite jump songs. Totally fantastic. I sometimes tell my group its like working thru moguls on a downhill ski run (but with some resistance).
Give the song a chance,.. it grows on you. EVERYTIME I use this tune I can't help but start to jump. I CAN'T STOP until the tune is over. It's about 5 minutes long,.. so I tell the ridership that the jumps are optional if they want to skip some. Hope you like it.
Bob Dylan - Honest With Me.

Have you tried "Not Ready to Go" by the Trews, or "Never Say Never" by Queens of the Stone Age"? "I Want Candy" remix by Good Charlotte is also jump-able (if that's a word??

I'm one of those instructors who believes that jumps are self
paced and the rhythm for jumps comes from inside and not from external (music). With that being said. Try this for jumps:
3 Minutes Silence
2-3 Minutes Heart Beat Sound Effect
(Starts with comfortable beat tempo. Beats gradually increase in tempo and intensity. Had a friend with an electronic drum system make my beats for me)
Finish with "Listen To Your Heart" by Roxette
Some Cheeze for you to sample

Well that certainly wasn't what I expected to hear Cheeze. See, I am one of those people that while using the rhythm that comes from inside, also very much uses the external rhythm of music. But the other day I played a song during a strength ride that had a quiet lull for a bit in the middle. As we were climbing the hill I had the riders explore their thoughts, feelings and other observations about themselves during that silence. So, after that experience, your suggestion does not seem so far outside of the box to me now (but still, outside it!). I will give it a try...who knows I may like it! (I wonder if Sam I Am had cheeze with his green eggs and ham?)
Thanks All for the music suggestions!

Babs:
This is another teriffic tune for longer jumps where the jumps can easily turn into standing runs of random length (keeps the attention of the ridership as they don't know WHEN to sit or stand,.. so they have to follow the instructor). Try this tune,.... and make the duration / frequency a bit random. It really works !!
Jump - By the Pointer Sisters

Try Billy Squire- Everybody wants you. It's awesome.
