WHY WE RIDE

Why do you ride?
I ride to escape into my own world; feel free and become part of nature.
I ride to feel the adrenaline rush of a descent
I ride to keep prettier legs (not that they are really pretty, but it helps)
I ride to be fit, healthy and strong.
I ride to explore

but mostly i ride for THAT ITALIAN HOAGIE at the end of the day!

I ride because I like the challenge of the trails.
I ride because I like to be with my friends.
I ride because I like to have bruises and cuts that come from cycling!
I ride because I love the outdoors and the beautiful scenery.
I ride because I want to get better and one day be able to learn the technical skills that will allow me to ride the red trails successfully!

1) Its cheaper transportation and better for the enviroment (seen the price of gas lately?)
2) I don't have to be tall, short stocky or some kind of body type to do it like basket ball , foot ball or other sports.
3) I don't have to wait for it to snow Like skiing
4) It brings families together
5) It keeps life and my Indoor cycling classes in perspective

Hey Lizzy - whoever said riding wasn't for girls was probably intimidated by you. Ya ever notice that even when you're in a double pace line and the guy you're riding beside always has to have his wheel a couple inches further than yours even though he ain't goin' nowhere. It's a male ego thing on the bike I guess.
