OK, someone help me register!

OK, ok, ok. Why can I not register without there being "guest" written at the bottom of my name. I click on "Register" put in all my stuff, ya dee, yadee, ya. What am I doing wrong. I am Tinker on the other post and I thought I would try it again. It wouldn't take my Tinker name so I put in my real name and I'm still stuck! I know I'm computer illiterate, but I'd like to not be considered a guest anymore. I don't want to be blamed for some comments I didn't make either. HELP!

Tinker/Meg,

Upper right of your screen. I checked the member list and you ARE registered under Tinker. You're the last one. It looks like you registered today.

Also in the upper left is says "Log In" if you're not already logged in. If you are logged in, it will say "Log out [Tinker]".

I've tried this several times and it continues to tell me my user name doesn't match my e-mail. I tried it under both Tinker and Megs.
Hmmmm. I do appreciate your help. I don't know what else to do.
