Hi Guys.

I plan in this thread to share all of my 'new finds'.
Well at least, new to me!
I will try to update it at least every week.

My music style is:

Tribal
Drums
New Age
New World
Chill Out
Trance
Etc

NO:
POP
ROCK

Stuff that inspires me to ride a bike that goes nowhere, except in my mind 8)
Tracks for all EZ, and even stuff for focusing and stretching
I recon its a cool way of giving back to all the guys who have helped me

Make yourself at home in my thread, put your feet up, have a brewski and if you have anything of the same style to share, feel free.
OH and before I forget there are still a few die hards in soulseek room 'Spinning Music' 8)

I find my music from films, looking through new releases. I also use http://entertainment.msn.com/music/ to find artists that sound similar to ones I have discovered already. I was looking for artists similar to banco de gaia and came across klangstrahler, I was well happy.

I also use these forums and speak to my spinning buddies

Thanks for the updates AC :)

Here a lovely intro to a ride:
Kitaro - Heaven and Earth (Land Theme)

A light flat road:

What I'm liking right now is "Twelve Girl Band". My wife brought home one of their CDs from Japan. Instrumental music with an orientalesque sound good for recovery, EEZ and some SEZ. They are releasing a CD in America on 8/17 with a remake of Clocks and music off the Riverdance CD. www.twelvegirlsband.com

If you like drums and can deal with a little native American chanting I just stumbled upon Peter Buffett's soundtrack CD for "500 Nations A Musical Journey" from 1994. IMO several good climbing tracks.

Irish Fest this weekend - then I'm getting into some serious podding.

Let me throw in the whole Tiesto CD - "Just Be".

I just got it and it is very upscale techno....very smooth stuff.

Hey AC I think I'm going to contact you again.... HAHA just kidding - I have a copy already..

it's unfair though, prices of cd's in the US are not comparible to what they cost over here, and some of this stuff is so undownloadable

My recent favorit: the Remix of Sensation 2004 (White Edition) - ALL OF IT!!

AC,

"Everything will be alright tomorrow" is an instrumental release of the No Roots CD. It's available in the UK. Go to http://uk.towerrecords.com/product.aspx?pfid=3073080

Get the Six Degrees 100 CD.

When you listen to it, some ofthe cuts may sounds weird, but, when you spin to just about anything on this CD, the music on this CD is very appropo. It have a plethora of world music - African, Indian, Euro, Afro-Cuban, ...

I played it tonight with no planned profile (an improv ride) and we had a blast. I literally had to cut the music off and kick everyone out of the room. We ended up doing 1H15M (for a 40M class).

I don't know if these ladies have a home to go to or if they just don't want to leave me. ;-)
