Anyone Interested In a CD Tree?

A tree composed by genre, not by # of participants.

That way, rockers aren't deluged with trance, and hip-hoppers aren't deluged by disco. State your main interest, & let's match up, so we get stuff we'll use, not sell to the neighbor's teen for a buck. I wanna get something outta this!

I'll be happy to orchestrate, not too concerned by the # of participants.

I just got finished w/another tree on another forum, & enjoyed. Thought I'd throw bait over here, & find out how the interest level runs.

Usually, a tree gathers a set # of folks (around 10). We compile a CD, with suggested profile, rip enough copies for everyone on the tree, and mail them out. In theory you'd get that # of CDs (10 people, 10 CDs including yours), for the price of postage.

I'd be interested in putting one together based on our musical tastes - I know there are quite a few people here with strong tastes in certain genres.

Mandi...sounds good to me. In terms of genre of music, I pretty much like everything, I'm open-minded when it comes to music. All I require is that the music is motivating, something that I could get into so that it will transpire to my students. Count me in :D
