Let's have some fun. What are some of the absolute WORST songs you could NEVER imagine for indoor cycling use. I'll start...
"Stoned" (Everybody Must Get....) - Bob Dylan
"Good Ole' Boys" (Dukes of Hazard Theme) - Waylon Jennings
"Every Sperm is Sacred" - Monty Python
"I Love You" - Barney & Friends
If you use any of these FINE selections, I AM SOOOO SORRY.........(for your class, that is!!!)
Get creative. Send me your best......ah, I mean WORST!!!

Cycle Folks:
Ok,... some may disagree,... but THE WORST tune I have ever heard of is Morris Albert's "Feelings." It ranks right up there with Bobby Goldsboro's "Honey."
Play one of these songs and the room will empty out quickly.
Also honorable mention to "Pillow Talk" by Sylvia and Captain & Tenielle's "Muscrat Love." Jerry Reed's "Convoy" is really lame and so is Carl Douglas' "Kung Foo Fighting" song. These are really bad !!!
Maybe we put together an hour of the "worst of the worst" songs just for laughs. Can the ridership handle an hour of HORRIBLE tunes???

I've actually used (or tried to) John Denver tunes on some of my rides.
South Park's "After Third Grade" - not rideable. But "Kyle's Mom Is A Stupid Bitch" is a great fast seated flat tune.

Some of these, I'm not sure of the titles or artists.....THANK GOD!
60's - "Hey there......Georgie girl!" - ??
70's - "Lo---vin' you.....is easy cuz it's beautiful.....la-la-la-la-la...." - ??
"You Are So Beautiful" - Joe Cocker
80's - "Him....him...him....what'cha gonna do without him.....you're gonna have to do without him.....or do without me....me...me" - ??
90's - "I Touch Myself" - The Divinyls
Sorry to all those eating lunch right now. How's that gag reflex workin' for ya?
"The most beautiful girl in the world" - Charlie Rich (I actually double over in pain from this one).
"Macarena" - I know this one has been gone a while but we need to stay vigilent.
"Who let the dogs out" - we can learn from recent mistakes also.
"Celebration" - Kool and the Gang - Because nothing says loving like a song from a wedding from the 80's.
"We are family" - Bar Mitzvah song from Hell

Or Bob Seger.
I occasionally let students burn CDs for me, and that is my one rule. No Bob Seger. Which makes me rather the odd woman out, since he's a Detroit homie.
Hey, you try spending 5 years at Chevy's ad agency listening to "Like a Rock" 50 times a day. That'll cure ya.

Oh, and some wise-guy thought including "Sara Smile" by Hall & Oates on a CD would be a nice touch.
If I had a dime...

Well shit(ake) mushrooms. I was downloading oldies and 60's songs just last night and some of them are ones on your lists. I'm a young person teaching my elders and they like oldies music. I have no idea what was popular then. Obviously! :?
Back to downloading!
