U2 - "Vertigo"

Brand-freakin' new U2...has anyone heard this? I just caught it for the first time. We're going back to BOY or WAR for that sound. It will definitely be making its way into my class! I can't wait to hear the rest of the album....assuming there's a new one.

Fantastic U2! Right up there with their best... the new album is due out sometime in November, although I assume you've downloaded "Vertigo". I've used it; great ride.

Word is they're going out on tour in '05; no schedule yet, though. With a little luck they'll swing by Hershey again for a few practice sessions and a concert like they did several years back!

If you don't mind giving up your source, where did you find the original (not remix) version? I've been downloading (legally) from www.musicmatch.com and they don't have it yet. I've been hearing it a lot on that IPOD commercial.

Sorry, Beerman....wasn't paying attention and missed the question. The version I've got came from ITunes, all legit. And while the remix is good, gimme the original any day.

ITunes is a good deal, Ale. You'll have to convert your song files to MP3 via a convoluted process if you're burning thru MixMeister or Musicmatch, but it's worth it. Drop me a note if I can help...

Thanks to all for the downloading tips. On 2nd thought, I'm going to wait a few more weeks to buy the whole album.

Quite honestly (and I hate to say this), between the ITunes commercial and radio play....NOW I CAN'T GET THE SONG OUT OF MY HEAD!

It sucks when you like a song and it gets ruined by overplay. I'm going to try and turn it off now whenever I hear it. Good tune...just can't wait to hear more.
