Can someone please send me directions re: converting iTunes files to a usable file format in Mixmeister? There has to be a way to do it, I just haven't been able to figure it out..Help!
Thanks,
Sue

Sue, I haven't found a perfectly direct way to do this, but here's what works for me:
When I get a few downloaded songs in my ITunes library, I burn them onto a CD. Then using my burning/ripping software (Musicmatch), I rip the songs back into my hard drive as MP3 files. From that format they can be imported into my Mixmeister catalog.
Not a perfect system...good thing CD's are cheap these days.
If anyone has a better way than this to get to the same end, I'd love to hear it too.
Good luck; hope things are going well for you!

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I would have come to that eventually..good idea Beth. That is a perfectly good workaround, nice job.
Now that I have MM5 the thought of burning the CD from another source is unthinkable.
Bless you my friend! It might not be perfect, but it will certainly do the job! :)
