Lyrics search

Does anyone have a site that effectively searches for song titles using a small portion of the lyrics?

Heard a song today...I have to have it...don't know what it is or who it was...and the DJ didn't tell :cry:. My only other option is to wait til they post today's playlist on their website in a few days, and I am just not that patient.

I hate when that happens! Usually I'll google that portion ... as in

"somebody told me lyrics" ... so long as you have "lyrics" somewhere in your search, it should work.

Wow, murphs - big excitement in your area today! Maybe things will get a little quieter now...

The understandable lyrics (and what I assume to be the chorus) were "Same rowdy crowd that was here last night is back again". Cool song, great guitar - not sure if it's "spinnable" yet, but I really really want to hear it again to find out.

I do the google thing using the word "lyrics" and it works 90% of the time, and if you know the name of the group, then it's a sure bet.

Here's another little trick once you know the name of the group. Search on amazon under music for titles by that group and they have a device that allows you to listen to a "sample" of each song on the disk -- it's been a huge help for me.
