WMAs and iPod

I just got an iPod and have been busy transferring songs to it. However, I have a lot of songs that I have downloaded from Napster and they are protected WMA files. iTunes won't let me transfer them to the iTunes library and I have to use the iTunes library to transfer songs to the iPod.

Have any of you iPod users out there run into this problem? How did you address it?

Not sure if this will help you or not. But I downloaded an inexpensive software program called anapod from redchairsoftware dot com and use it instead of itunes -- it doesn't have any of those restrictions AND you can UPLOAD music from an iPod as well.
