Hey thier, Cruise Control is one of my favorites,(#43 on my class description list) It's all about the average HR. To play Cruise control know your Heartrate # for 80% and as the class begins get your but to that heartrate and hold it baby hold it. To maintain a certain average you must stay above that determined HR (80% here) and you should not drop below that average. Now if you drop below that average number by say 10 beats for 1 min, you must go 10 beats above that average for 1 min to maintain that average.. get it? Now at the end of the ride your average heartrate should be the number predetremined at the start, 80%(for Polar models with average settings only) All the moves here cause this is a Free style endurance class..... Enjoy....
