OK I'll be the first to introduce myself and hopefully get this ball rollin'.
I'm like2bike and I'm damn happy to be at a forum that is not censored. Thank you Billy!
I've been spinning for 4 years and cycle outdoors on the road and on the trails along the rivers of PA. I adore my DH and we've been wed for 17 years. We love it inline skate together as well. Looking forward to welcoming new folks here and sharing more ideas with y'all (Kelly, that "ya'll" was for you!)
Hey girl! Thanks for pulling this thing together...and thanks to Billy for hosting us.
Pleased to meet you...hope you guess my name.

Big shout out to L2B for getting us together and hooking up the forum with Billy.
I was :( but now I'm :)
Me? Teaching Spinning for almost 9 yrs, GF classes for 18 yrs! :) and still loving it. Addicted to music, profiles with a purpose, mentoring new instructors, WSSC, forum sharing, wine and dark chocolate! 8)
Did I miss anything?
Overly happy to be here too.

L2B...where in PA are you? I'm in York....for now. Looks like a move to MD is in the near future. :(
I'll join in the intros. on this thread as well.
I'm the mom of 2 sweet little girls (2 yrs. and 4 mos.)
I'm a triathlete who has done all distances, but I haven't been swimming much lately so not sure whether there will be much racing this year!
I've been teaching IDC for a little over a year at a YMCA where I get paid practically nothing but have great clients. I just got my MDA last month so I hope to pick up some more gigs....may wait till we move, though.
Thanks for getting the ball rolling here! I'm so sad to see so much good information vanishing.

Hi Traci,
I'm in Pittsburgh. Not sure how far York is from here--are you near Philly? That's where Pink and Cfoam4me are located. Where in MD are you moving to? We vacation in Delaware every summer (Rehoboth Beach). If it's close enough, I'll head over and a take a class once you get set up with a gig (which I'm sure will be very soon!)

Hi Monica!
Oh heck no, I didn't put this forum together. Bill Garcia did. Billy has been in the IDC world for a long time and is an incredibly passionate person. He put this site together when the old spinning forum was taken away. It thrived for awhile and then it slowed down. I simply pointed folks to this place when the levy broke at Pedal-on. We congregated here, made some improvements to the site based on you, the users's feedback, and here we are!
Monica thanks for being here. :)

Hi everyone
Might as well stick my neck out and intro myself. I'm a newly certified instructor looking to expand my knowledge. I'm a late in life (45 yo)exercise/spinning enthusiast and mother of 2 (boy 9 - girl 13).
I've been lurking for a couple of days (found the "other" site and then was redirected here).
I'll admit that I'm here to sponge as much insight and experience I can from you all. Someday, hopefully, I'll be able to offer something back. But for now - I'm just a humble student.

Hi Colleen--thanks for stepping up and introducing yourself. It's a pleasure to meet you and have you here. Congratulations on your recent certification. Sponge away! We all started somewhere! And as far as offering something back? You've already started doing that by sharing a little about yourself with the rest of us!
WELCOME!
Hi Colleen! Nice to meet you and hope you find a comfy spot here.

Colleen, I've been teaching for a little over a year and I am seeing some real improvement in my classes as of late. I owe 100% of that to the mentors on this site - YOU ALL KNOW WHO YOU ARE! - IMHO there is no better place to learn - and not just about IDC either. Glad to have you here!

Hey Colleen - welcome. Doesn't matter how long you've been teaching or how long it took you to get there. We are all learning and elvolving daily here. Take whatever knowledge you can.
