Hello there! Thanks to some kind souls on the April CD Tree...I've found my way to this forum. After just discovering you guys about a month or so ago, I couldn't bare not staying connected with your amazing advice, music, profiles, etc.

Just to recap...I'm from Minneapolis and have been teaching spinning for the past 16 months after spinning on and off for 9+ years. I love every minute of it :D So now let's get some good profiles posted!!!

WELCOME! Happy to have you hear with us again! The important thing is to share knowledge, share questions, share experiences together, and to lean on and support eachother no matter what. We've got a great bunch of folks here already, and we've only just begun.

Please take a moment and read Billy Garcia's message to all of us under the "Indoor Cycling" section (It Can be YOUR Forum). It's very important that we all be patient as this forum starts up again....please stay with it....

Thanks...I'll take the time to renavigate my way through. I'm like a kid in a candy store...your support system has been a huge inspiration.

In short, I had a very challenging (notice I didn't say terrible) experience taking over somebody's class last month. I eventually just rolled with the punches. Then earlier this week I auditioned for another location (same club) and the GM said I was one of the best instructors she's seen. And I credit you guys with giving me the little boost I needed to remind myself to be my best possible self

That is terrific that you were able to outweigh a negative experience with a positive one. That is what makes us stronger! Congrats--I'll bet you truly ARE one of the best instructors out there. :P

Hi Free.... so glad to have you here with us. Really happy that your new gig is going to work out better than the old. Sometimes you just gotta be patient and let one door close while someone pulls you in through the window!

Yup, Free, sometimes it just takes time to find the right fit. And it is well worth the wait. Good luck with your new gig.
