I am really confused. Can someone tell me what is going on with the other site. There are closed threads all of a sudden??? :?:

Who knows? There is just a bunch of finger pointing going on over there! If you ask Tolzer, "admin" they'll just give you the run around. :cry:

If the forums were locked,I don't know,but I'd imagine the back-tracking process may have started.

Hmmm seems they realize they may have seriously messed up and are now going to try to heal things:

"The Adbrite advertising has been removed. This should resolve the issues with banner ads and browser hijacking et all.

We will be rolling the site database back to the end of March. We will send out a notice of the exact time/date.

Anything posted past that restore date will be lost. So if there is a topic or post that you would like to save, now is the time to obtain it. Please copy your subjects/posts and they can be pasted back into the site after we restore.

When we roll back, all of your PM’s will be restored, and the site will be back as it was before the problems arose. However, the Adbrite banner ads will be removed.

It looks like they realized, "Man we really f*%^$#@ up!" They know the ship is sinking and there trying everything to save it!

Lesson to be learned kids.....

When you screw with people, you really screw yourself.

There were many, many ways the admin could have made this right, instead they choose to sink the ship.

But I do enjoy the "while we heal our wounds" bit, they are talking about SELF INFLICTED WOUNDS.

And the villian plays the role of the victim....very entertaining if nothing else.
