From doing the household budget. :?
I don't know, I think my partner decided to wear the "boss" hat, oh well less work for me :D
Aren't you a trophy wife anyway?
I lost that job about 5 years ago. I say CELEBRATE. Buy a pair of shoes, someone else will pay the bill!

A trophy wife, HA! Well maybe....wait, no I'm older than him so I don't think I qualify for that role.
It is nice to not have to deal with it, but now I have an allowance

Even more ouch, I went to open my wallet and all my credit cards were mysteriously missing.
Apparently I'm on a cash budget. OK so I admit I did need a debt intervention but I still think my husband is sortof being a butthead.

My girlfriend is on a cash budget too. She has been forever. Husband doesn't trust her with the credit cards. She can use them with special permission only. Now mine (DH) knows better than to question me.

Oh my, that is a good question, I hadn't thought about that, I guess I'll have to use my paypal account.
The funny thing is we both have excellent credit scores and my scores are even higher than his! I don't get behind on the important bills just the little ones.

If anyone ever tried to take my credit card away (or anything that belonged to me for that matter) they would lose a hand.

I've been on a cash budget for a LOOOONNNGGG time. It makes things easier for him when he's growling at the checkbook. I also have what you would call a "shopping problem". I was never given the chance to do any damage as far as debt because my darling husband has done the bills and such since we got married. Thank God because just thinking about balancing the checkbook gives me hives!
As for the 'trophy wife' comment...Have you guys sen Moon's hubby?? *wolf whistle* He is a hottie just like Moon! I'd say they both got their trophy's! Hee hee.

What kind of credit score does someone have when they only get behind on the 'little ones'? Does this mean you only get behind on what can't be foreclosed or reposessed or disconnected?
I'm so glad I'm not married. :D
I'm so glad I'm not married. :D
And if you don't want to be, then it's especially good for the woman you're not married to.
I'm starting to perceive a plethora of trophy wives.

Why yes, you have grasped my concept.
In the moon school of finance we learn that the big bills, like the one's that can ruin your credit are the ones that must be paid on time everytime, like the mortgage, car loans ect... the little bills would be the one's that you can pay a month late and they don't report on your credit or charge a late fee like the phone, cable ect...
Apparently not everyone appreciates my knowledge on the matter.
But I do have good credit scores, two are in the 790's and the other one is in the 780's....SO THERE.
I'm starting to perceive a plethora of trophy wives.
It's what I aspire to be but, sadly, Mr. Pink expect more of me. Any suggestions?
