OK, I didn't finish typing before it submitted. I am still learning to navigate the new place and enjoy seeing all the old familiar names. I am looking forward to getting into the groove with everyone again and feeling connected!
Sorry if it sounds corny!

It's good to see you too Kelli.
I like to call this forum the VIP forum. It's only for the very special people. 8)

Oh good one, Moon. Actually, I am hoping we can attract newbies who find value here. I think that's what keeps forums active. Yes, friendships are formed & strengthened but newbies will keep us interesting. I don't mind answering the same questions over & over. I know I've learned a ton here and hope to share with others. That's my feeling, anyway.

LMAO
Yes I'm also a, uh, um...cornball, ahem
Anyway I agree I think newbies keep a forum flowing, otherwise it get's a little stagnant in here.
I wonder how we can attract more newbies?
I've been watching and there have been newbies joining...names I don't recognize from other places. I hope that they feel comfortable enough to jump in and partcipate. I don't want us to appear to be a thick clique that can't be cracked.
Soooo Hellllloooooo, if you are out there, hiding in the shadows, please jump out and say BOO!

That's just it. I'm not a newbie!Well I am to this site, but was on the PO site for over a year with a fair amount of responses. I just have that strange limbo feeling. I still pop over the old place, but see more new names than old names. And trying to get my grove on and still trying to get comfy here!

I posted the link on www.turnstep.com. They (ahem) didn't ban me for it (very cool of them so I'm returning the favor here).
Also, DH and I are going to Ohio next weekend for 2 CECs and I plan on spreading the word to those who attend.
Word of mouth is a great method! If any new folks are reading this, please come on out of the shadows and introduce yourselves! We want to get to know you! Yes, YOU!

You know the saying..."if you build it, they will come". :)
Well this place is evolving and growing, so they will find us.
Great job admin team!

We are going to Westerville OH (Westerville Athletic Club) for these two CECs:
Rating of Perceived Exertion
I don't have many students who use HR monitors so I'm looking forward to learning how to better coach my riders who don't have the HRMs.
Contraindications to the Spinning Program
I know the CI moves but I want to know more about explaining them to my riders and WHY they are not safe and/or effective. CAN'T WAIT!
Anybody taken these recently and have feedback? I left a voicemail at the Westerville A. Club as to whom the MI will be but haven't received a call back just yet...will let you know once I hear...
