View Full Version : Archiving my profiles here

In the first 48 hrs of the "PO drama" I was not sure of my fate on that forum, whether I'd be banned or would all my posts and threads disappear. So I went into extreme salvage mode, and printed a TON of threads I thought were valuable to have, and copied and pasted ALL of my profiles that I put up on that forum. I spent too much time over three years typing them up to have them go poof!

So I'll be gradually adding them back here on the Innercycling forum (pasting them into new threads here in the profile section).
The reason I am doing this, is because I have made a decision that being on two forums is one too many for me, so I am making a choice. I'm staying here. :) Perhaps down the road some of you who are flipping back and forth might also come to this same conclusion, so if you do, these profiles of mine will now be archived here.

I also copied and pasted or printed out many other peoples' profiles onto a word doc in my computer. I kind of foresaw myself having to make this choice and I wanted to refer back to their profiles when I needed a shot of inspiration. :D

Thank you so much. I know I value your profiles and I'm sure most people here feel the same way. You put a lot of work and time into creating them and I for one want you to know it is so appreciated ! :D

I can't wait to see them! I have had to make that choice as well. I spend too much time on the computer as it is. My husband and three children will attest to this, I assure you. I can't be involved with two forums. I'm really comfortable over here anyway. It's like getting new furniture; for a little while, you long for your old furniture. Then you get to the point where your new furniture is your old furniture. Are you pickin' up what I'm puttin' down? Thanks for all the time and energy that went into making them and posting them, twice!

That's why she's the K-girl. If I had a penny for every time I've referred to one of Kelly's posts, I'd be a millionaire.

Hey Kel, I bet I have all of your profiles printed out too! I should have created a separate binder that just has your stuff in it, I have so many print-outs from your wisdom through the years.

Can't wait to see it all here...you are very devoted to your work to have put so much time, effort, and let's face it, love, into your profiles and song lists.

THANK YOU, for everything you give to all of us! Where would we be with the K-girl?

That's great Kelly, it would be wonderful to have you knowledge on the forum. The division of the two forums begins.....

FYI just so all of you know those who bounce back and forth are always welcome here. :D

Kelly,
Thanks so much for sharing! I've often referred to your profiles for inspiration. It is so kind of you to have taken all the time to "rescue" them from potential demise and bring them here.

Thanks!!!

Ha!!! Yeah it did, it was funny too because I remember it was on a Thurs, my day off and I don't think I even got out of my pj's or went pee for half a day! But I bet L2B and Yvonne were also glued to their computers setting things in motion with this great site!

Kelly, you truly are the best!
You have this natural ability to teach and make me want to learn more. The fact that you have spent so much time saving all the posts says alot about you. Maybe you care so much or are a little coo coo (just kidding).
Whatever the reason I personally thank you.

Geez - half my playbook is filled with Kszspin profiles (and some kickin' music from you too)! They have given me great ideas about how to structure and cue my classes. I'd be lost at this point without them.

Thanks for sharing all this good stuff with all of us - especially the newbies.
