Hey Keli,
I have a feeling Megs may be your man here, but I know he's out of town right now. He should be back after 4/30. In the meantime, let's see if any other of our good folks out there might be able to help...
Apple and Windows...never the twain shall meet.
Get someone to burn the CD in music CD format, then rip it back using ITunes. WMA files, or windows media files are more compressed than mp3 files, never the less, they are incompatible Mac/Windows.
Bill Gates - Steven Jobs - you may have heard, these guys don't like each other.

AC's right on the $ here, .wma is a Windows Media Audio file format .. usually created or burned with Windows Media Player ... although several jukebox type programs give you the option.
sorry, sweetie .... it's Bill's way of saying "up yours" to Steve.
which CD is it? perhaps i have it, and can help you out.

I assume you have WMP on your machine since when you click on them they open it? If so, just set it to rip the songs into MP3 format and then copy to your iTunes folder. iTunes does both formats MP3 and WMA if set correctly, it turns WMA into its AA4 format and vice versa. It's really very simple to put wma files in iTunes.
1. Open iTunes,
2. Go to your music library.
3. Drag and drop the wma file to the library
4. A dialogue box will appear saying iiTunes will convert the wma to aac.
5. Click the "Convert" button.
