View Full Version : a post from my husband
my husband timm is a forum wanna be...you know, lurking over my shoulder at times, checking out what's going on..scanning all the avatars...etc
well, he came home from a business trip with something he felt was "post worthy".....he is a plastics engineer and sells equipment to companies that manufacture and recycle plastic. this new company he picked up has a new varnish they will sell to seal the writable cd's on the market...keep them from early destruction. apparently writing with permanent marker on your cd (which i've been doing all along) is not safe and the marker in time will seep in and destroy the music burned underneath. so beware, change your habits, tell your friends at the water cooler...all this job needs is more time reburning cd's! and there you have it, a post from my wonderful husband! take care...jmd :D
Yup, 'tis true. Although it broke my heart, I've had to step away from my beloved Sharpies and start using Memorex CD Markers. They are not nearly has sexy.
So why no let Timm join up? Surely he has a Snaflete moment to share.
BTW, any other significant others peeking over your shoulders? DH knows not to even think about it but he does often ask, "So what's new on your forum?" and he asks after people he's met in Miami.
