Hi Guys!!! Good to be here!!!! I'm an aerobic instructor/indoor cycling instructor who absolutely loves my job. I am a Schwinn cert. but looking for a Spinning Cert. close to home(WVa) as I feel I need to keep up to date with guidelines. I have to take CEC's to teach aerobics, why not cycling? I would also like to have a heart zones cert under my belt. Its all on the "to do" list. I LOVE all the ideas & discussions & will get in on some once in a while. Hope to contribute one of these days.
Welcome! Your enthusiams leaps out of your post badbrddrvr. I hear you on the CE's -- in fact, I find them on of the fun parts of IDC. Don't know if you know it or not but poster Megale3 is an MI for Schwinn and he's a wealth of info.
Hey, always curious, how did you find innercycle? Glad you did.

Hey there! WELCOME and thank you for introducing yourself! We have lots of Schwinn instructors who post regularly here so I'm glad you will be joining all of us here.
Sounds like you have a great "to do" list there. I love your enthusiasm--I'm certain you bring that with you in your classes--you must be a terrific instructor!
I'm from WV (Weirton). Where do you live in WV?

Welcome to the forum! Don't be shy at all posting your thoughts or questions. If you have a tune or tunes to share, let us know. Same with a profile to share!
It's like those cups of spare pennies at the checkout counter......"if you have a penny leave one, if you need a penny take one". :)
btw..I'm trying to figure out what your username stands for. I got the Bad & drvr (driver?), but what's the middle "brd"? Is it bird? Does it have something to do with golf? :?

Welcome BBD,
I am glad you are expanding yourself by getting other orientations too. I am also oriented in a few other cycling venues and it’s just great to have other fresh views on the concepts of the stationary bike and its components of teaching. You'll find Spinning, Sally Edwards, RPM, Reebok, Schwinn, Reaction, 24 Hr Cycling, Tomahawk, Power people such as Cyclops and a few others. We dig that you are here. And not long or far from now we will be making this forum more user friendly.

Thank you for the warm welcome. Pink, I learned of this site from turnstep of which I have been a regular for years. Like2bike, a fellow West Viginian huh, I'm down here in Beckley. I have been to Weirton a few times. I am originally from Scotland, been in WV for 30 years, married to a great guy, but all my Family still back in Scotland so I get to go home once or twice a year($$ permitting) Dont you love that the trees are starting to get green? WVa is so beautiful. Kszspin, my screen name??? I drive a beautiful black fire bird with the license plate "1 badbird" so.........bad bird driver! Badbrddrvr. OK gotta go to work. Have a wonderful Day!

Monica Turnstep is a GF website, where people post their step combos, hi-lo, core workout, kickbox class, and cycling too. It's not a forum like this though.
Here's the link.

Thanks for the web address but I won't even visit it. This is my home away from home, and I can't manage another home if you know what I mean  . I'm sitting behind the computer more than I'm sitting on the bike seat - but after all, priorities are important!
