Got in late on Thursday night. Going from the West to the East is havoc on your sleeping habits that waits till the very next morning. Getting up on Friday morning at 6 O’clock (my usual sleep in) equated to about three o’clock my time back home. We stayed up late the night before to have a meeting with the group about or itinerary for the next 3days and that just added to the sleep deprivation. OK I am a big boy so I can handle some hours without sleep. Went to the first class and to take notes and train to present it. A class called Interaction which was a good study to adherence of the work out and to create community in your classes- simply a very awesome time and experienced one of my favorite instructors Julz Arney coaching. Then went into a class called “Design In No Time” which made a design based grid that created the main sets or points of the class then modulated it down to smaller or sub sets. Showing how with initial work in the beginning to make your grid will after words make it “just add music” and create ride entities all their own. Then it was off to a workshop called Music Magic this is great because it intro's to newer people the way that music and the industry are going and gives helpful suggestions on what it takes to stream line your classes and make playlists on your players. Then the next day was studying and rehearsing and got in on a fantastic ride by Jay Blahnik. The guy can rip it up! Next day one more class and then Went down to Downtown Disney and had a blast. Next year I hope to see some of you there.

Sounds like you had a blast! Is this event in the same place every year, as WSSC is doing? Or are they taking it on the road in different cities?

I've never taken a ride from Jay Blahnik, but I've had many GF sessions from him, and I remember a workshop back in the early-mid 90's in Vegas, he presented a w/s titled 'Dynamic warmups and cool cool-downs" (or something like that!). He showed us how dynamic stretches (moving stretches) in w/u were more effective and safer than static stretches prior to the workout. This had people flipping out back then cause we usually stopped and held and stretch for a silly 5-10 sec in our step warmups. I immediatly began re-vamping my w/u's and haven't brought back static stretches (in w/u) since.
Years later, this was a reason (one of a few reasons) I stopped being a certification examiner for AFAA. They still spout the static stretches in their practical exams.

Go have some fun its got so many cycling classes you will not believe it. seems every class has a ride in it as well as good lectures that keep you pined to the info.
I listened in on classes that I give right now and they still made me purk up for the information presented in a different way.
