OMG y'all! (sorry, channeling Britney there for a sec...)

This woman was...contraindication in motion...a thing of contraindicative beauty to behold. She should have had a big circle with a slash over her.

You know how it goes. The group-wide form reminders specifically tailored to the individuals errors (if you can think of it, she was doing it). The complimenting of others' form. The direct eye-contact and pointing out of different aspects of my own form (shaddap).

Finally, a first for me, I got off of my bike. I simply couldn't tolerate it anymore. Very quietly, I gave specific corrections with the reasons behind them.

Her response? "I've taken lots of spinning classes!"

Jennifer you "stayed true to yourself" (AC hates it when I say that--LOL!) and did what you believed was the correct action (and indeed it was).

So what happened? She didn't get it. Oh well. At least you tried and you are a good instructor for trying to keep your class safe and effective. As for her, well, let her go. Nothing more you can do (and her response was typical!).

YOU are supposed to correct them. THEY have the option of listening.

Sounds like another "unreachable". Her loss if she doesn't want to learn and she has probably taken a lot of Spinning wanna-be classes where the instructor hasn't a clue about proper form.

Or you could say " I'm surprise no one picked up on correcting your form in all those spin classes"
