View Full Version : rolling out the red carpet for my twin sister
just wanted to pre-empt my sister's first post!!! :D my identical twin just got offerred her first opportunity to teach spinning and i told her the next step on her journey is to join this forum! we are both really excited....but a fair warning, we are a lot alike...so don't be surprised if we post the same things at the same time etc....ask the same questions, use the same expressions....we still seriously do that stuff all the time. so enough about "us", she'll be posting her welcome soon....keep an eye out for her i think she will use the username "amd" i can't wait for her to get here and meet everyone. have a great weekend :D jmd

That is SO COOL! Thanks for all of the interesting information, Jean. You both must be very close--how wonderful! Your childhood together & your teenage years through high school and college must have been a BLAST! And now as adults, still such good friends--an incredible bond you both share, I am certain. And thanks for bringing Ann into the mix here--it will be great to finally "meet" her. Always love to see new folks on the forum--we are growning!

Awesome Jean! When I was a child growing up in Iowa my best friends were twins. I had so much fun with them. I used to get seriously jealous though. It was so obvious that if I fell off the face of the earth it wouldn't matter at all because all they needed was eachother. I soooo didn't have that kind of relationship with my sister. Twins are awesome, I can't wait to meet her.

Well, where is she???? Do you live close to each other? My grandmom was an identical twin -- and I do me identical. Most people could not tell them apart (and they lived one house away from each other) so it became easier to just pretend they were each other when they ran into casual acquaintances around town. They also had a twin sibs.
Catch the names: They were Mabel & Myrtle, their sibs were Elmer & Elma. Also had another sister, Gertrude-Flora. Heeeee Hawwwww!

i live in colorado springs with my husband steve, and 3 boys... its a beautiful place to raise a family. i am a stay at home mom, but have just returned to prn work as a physical therapist. i am a bit rusty (creak)... but the good thing about anatomy is that it doesn't change !!! we ARE evolving... but slowly!!! PHEW!!!
i like to swim, read, hike, spin, and hang out with MY BOYZ!!! but my newest and most favorite hobby is YOGA !!!!
i am a total newbie instructor... although i have been spinning for years and love the workout and the energy gained from a good class...
i am starting out slowly, and will have lots of questions i'm sure...so i might need you to throw me a bouy...
thanks again for the red carpet treatment... have a great weekend!!!

Welcome amd.
I'd love to visit CO Springs again, this time with my bike. I love the Garden of the Gods. Cool rock formations and it seems like a sportsman's dream.
