Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl, "Will you marry me?" The girl said
"No" and she lived happily ever after and went shopping, drank martinis
with friends, always had a clean house, never had to cook, had a closet
full of shoes and handbags, stayed skinny, and was never farted on.
The End

In that case, might I add....."...and was never farted on or bailed out of jail."

He had season tickets to his favorite team, a golf club membership, drank the beer of his choice, went fishing on Saturday mornings, never had anyone complain about his dirty socks or wet towel being on the floor and drove a 2 seater convertable.

I think our menfolk are a bit sensitive.
We're really just kidding, we love our men! If I lost my husband, let's say in the mall, I don't have any clue what I would do. Afterall, he balances the checkbook.
Again, just kidding...

Oh Mellee you are so right. I absolutely ADORE my husband (matter of fact, he's the one that SENT me this fairytale!). I would never want to live my life without him. And as far as the farting thing goes, well, let's say I've had my share of "payback" moments during our 17 years of marriage...

What's life without humor? I acutally sent this to my husband and he thought it was hilarious.
Meg, don't be mad at us...We apologizing for hating on the opposite sex.

I was kidding too but there is a little reality in that I have too many female friends that are going to on line dating services and are really mad at men because they are not around. Sorry am having a morning man thang going on :D

Actually, Mr. Pink is off on a photography trip with some buds. He left last night and I couldn't sleep -- not one wink the entire night. I thought I was looking forward to having the house to myself, but I guess I was wrong. I'm feeling a little lost. What is my purpose if there's no one to boss around?

Let me tell you about my man! He sold his Hyabusa (fancy sport bike) so I could go to Miami comfortably! I even get to stay an extra night. He's such a sweetie! However, that was funny!

Well, maybe bossy isn't the right word. I just happen to know what needs to be done, and how it should be done, and when it should be done, and how long it should take to get done.
Yeah, probably bossy's a good word.
But you know what he did last night? He emailed me a picture he took of the sunset.

As my mother always said, "It's not 'controlling', it's just 'good ideas'".

A true romantic. He sounds very thoughtful. I'm so happy to be married to a good man. I look around and see a lot of unhappy married people and a lot of unhappy single people. I've seen two marriages fall apart in the last five years because one of the couple "fell in love" with someone from the internet. Don't think my husband doesn't worry about the time I spend on this forum. He trusts me and he's not really very vocal about it but when you've watched two marriages fall apart that way, it's gotta worry you a bit when you're wife becomes glued to the computer. After all there's all the time I'm here and the time I'm sampling music and making cds. It adds up to quite a bit of time in front of the computer. Oh geez, I'm rambling, sorry.

Oh boy, good thing my wife isn't posting here, that would tip the scale in the other direction a bit.
Wait a minute, how could she post here she is busy saving the universe.
There was a great email going around a while back that this link reminded me of. It was titled The Perfect Day. And it came in his and hers. I chuckle just bringing it to memory recall.
