Sent songs not playing in itunes

When my daughter sends me songs from her computer they go into my itunes but then don't play. It says cannot find file with an explanation mark. I try everything and can't locate them or play. I know you guys send songs to each other. What am I doing wrong? Help!

When she emails them to you, you have to tell it where to go, right? Like where on your computer it stores them. THEN (this is now the problem for you I think), you need to IMPORT them into your itunes library.
Open itunes library, go to FILE, then drop down to IMPORT. It will then convert the song into the type itunes recognizes and it will then be in your itunes.
