Hi there!

You've probably noticed by now that your avatars didn't carry over from the old version of the software (darn!). If you'd like to have an avatar, please go to the "User CP" up there in the left corner, click on it and you'll see a Control Panel with Settings and Options. If you click on "Edit Avatar," well, I think you can figure out the rest!

We don't have the animation going yet (my dove of peace is temporarily frozen and her wings are really getting stiff--LOL!) but we'll get that going soon!

Hang tight--we'll get there! MANY THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE. ;)

Maybe he's had a long stressful day changing over software?

Or maybe he's worn out from another night of racoon wrangling!

I'm so proud -- I was able to figure out how to upload my avatar :). I realize it's a small thing, but I am such a techno-idiot that I didn't think it would work.....see how little it takes to make me happy?

I removed, deleted, danced, prayed, and ruminated; however, solving the mystery of the motionless avatar still escapes me. I just can't dodge my balls anymore!:o

Mark you are so funny! Buddy, I couldn't make my dove fly either! Left me scratching my head too! So I ventured out and found something else that worked (and that I liked!). I can PM you the website I used if you'd care to peruse through it to see if there's something you may like. Let me know!

I really am going to miss those balls tho! However, I have to admit it cracks me up everytime I see you post and they are still frozen with the little guy looking all "freaked out" and stuff.

I have seven or so other animated beauts that will no longer giggle, either. I can't figure it out. Go ahead and PM. It won't hurt to check it out. I miss my balls, too!!

Can anyone help me figure out how to FIND a picture to upload for my avatar?? I followed the directions and go to the point where I have to enter in a site to upload from...and for the life of me can't remember where I got the pic for my avatar on the "other" site!!!! Wasn't there a specific website that had tons to choose from?

sorry.........

Thank you!!

You're welcome, however, if you really love your other avatar, you can go to the "other" site, right click on it, copy and paste it to your desktop and then upload it here.

Thanks Bob!! Im trying out this avatar...what do you think??
It's supposed to stand for "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"! I've always loved that saying and think it applies to everything in life in one way or the other!:D

So Bob...I have to ask you...is that you on your avatar?? I love it!
One more question...the business cards you designed...they are awesome! What a great idea! I would love to do something similar. I teach an intro. class once a month and I think that would be a great thing to start giving to new members and more seasoned ones that need some reminders!!:D
So...how did you get your design on the computer onto the cards? Did you take the file to a printer?

Thanks Bob!! Im trying out this avatar...what do you think??Awesome, really, really classy.

So Bob...I have to ask you...is that you on your avatar?? I love it!Yes that is me, I had to do self portrait for a class I took during the fall semester. I'm a professional illustrator, but I was working in an new application. The original illustration was in a shirt and tie. I added the Spinning jersey for the "other" forum and then changed the colors to match this site.

So...how did you get your design on the computer onto the cards? Did you take the file to a printer?I use a web-based printer and just upload the cards to their website. The site is www.OvernightPrints.com. If you need help PM me with you email address and we talk about what you want.
