Hello Everyone! It's so lonely at the other place I'd thought I'd come join you! I miss all your wisdom!
I've now been teaching IC for 2 years and have just started mentoring a newbie who completed her Mad Dog orientation class two weeks ago. Since Kszspin was kind enough to take me under her wing when I started, I wanted to pass along this kindness to Ashley. Hopefully I will inspire her as much as I was inspired by Kelly.
Welcome, Lucy! Passing it on ... that's what it's all about. I know I never would have made it without my mentors. Make sure Ashley knows about us. It takes a village to raise a child, right? :D
I've already mentioned both sites to her as sources of knowledge. She's already talking about WSSC 2008!

Welcome home Lucy, you may be a junior member on the board, but you're a senior member in our hearts.

LUCY IS HERE! I have missed you! So happy that have joined the crew of lovable characters here, both new and old. Looking forward to your wonderful contributions. I always enjoyed reading your posts. Happy to know you are mentoring a new instructor. It's so important to "share the love" when you can. WELCOME!

Oohh Lucy....you got some 'splaining to do! Where you been? ;)
I'm happy you found your way to this forum, it's a cool place to hang out.
And good for you to bring another Spinning instructor along and provide that support for her. I sure hope to meet her one day!

Glad to see you here!
Thanks for all the warm welcomes. Now I feel guilty for taking so long to get here! My new trainee taught this morning and she did great! She needs to speak a little louder and explain a little more but all-in-all, a good first class. Kelly.... Ruby and I were talking about you today and think it's about time we took another of your 90 minute classes. We could use some inspiration!

Lucy...I no longer work at the gym where I did the 90min class every month. They had the fire there in the Spring and I decided not to go back after that. But I am doing a 2 hr Challenge Ride at the PFC on post next Sat ($10 for the class, and everyone walks away with a door prize). Call me if you want to reserve a bike or two (hurry before they are gone). :)
