Hmmm... I've been using my iPod and iTunes for years, but just stumbled on podcasts. These are (usually) free videos or audios on particular topics. They seem to be of varying degrees of quality, but I've already gotten some good ideas for my classes.

I was mostly looking for yoga stuff, and there's lots of that. (I've got more than enough to keep me going while I'm on vacation!) When I get back, I plan to incorporate some of the stretching flows into my IDC classes. (In particular, I like Sage yoga training for a post-class stretch.)

There are also lots of podcasts about cycling, but I didn't find many about indoor cycling in particular. I may have missed them tho -- I just looked quickly.

Does anyone have any podcasts they watch/listen to regularly? I'd love to hear what you think is good!

Hmmm... After I hit the submit button, I decided to search for podcasts, and lo and behold, you all have already discussed them! Forgive me for being too quick out of the starting gate! I was just excited to share.

Anyway, I'd still love to hear about what podcasts you find valuable!

I was deep in the woods of Virginia when my sister in laws friends showed up with their yoga mats for a morning session on the dock.
Along with their mats, they whipped out the Bose dock, popped in the pod, and out came a voice that took us through a wonderful, balanced yoga class.
It came from a site called I Train. I think it's $50 for the whole year, unlimited downloads, all types of workouts, including indoor cycling(which I have not checked out).
Along with the actual instructors voice and class structure, you can also print outlines of the moves, form, postures, etc... that they will be talking about in the workout. They were very detailed.

There's also a podcast called Podrunner that has a 60 to 90 minute program of music mixed to a specific BPM pace. It's geared to runners, but could be used for a IDC classes. If you go to Podrunner.com you can get old programs and there's a link to a site to download the CD quality songs (this part isn't free)

If you logon to YogaToday.com you can download free (yes folks free) Yoga classes daily. They download to your iTunes. The classes are really good.
