This is a documentary that looks very carefully at the actions of the US right after the "Mission Accomplished" banner went up and how Iraq is in the state it's in. Frankly, I approached the war with a very open mind when it started. I was in favor of it when presented with the evidence. I was prous of what the troops acccomplished and looked forward to the promise of democracy in a middle eastern country.

What I saw in this documentary makes me angry and tearful. Our country has basically destroyed Iraq through incompetance by Rumsfeld, Cheney, Wolfowitz, Bremer and W. And it's topped off with the arogance and disdain by these same people for the Iraqi's. We are responsible for the deaths of 600,000 civilians and the displacement of 2 million refugees. We destroyed their infrastructure, their utilities and their cultural institutions. We literally leveled the city of Faluga. Our reconstruction policies are scandalous. Iraq is Katrina times 1000.

History will definitely judge this war very harshly.

Check out Joseph Wilson's book "The Politics of Truth" which gives a sobering look at the pre-war intelligence.

...not to mention creating an even more fertile ground for angry factions...
