Because I am all about advanced planning, my question is, does anyone want a roommate at WSSC for next year?
With my husband in college full-time I need to be selective of my continuing education events. Let me know if you want a roomie or know of someone who wants a roomie. I am a neat freak so be warned in advance ......

I just may be looking for a roomie myself. Ummmm, let's see.... Can both of us being from Iowa be our common thread? A neat freak? Me? Not so much.:( Couple that with the fact that my bike shorts will be hanging from the retractable clothes line and the time to change between rides can be awfully short, my hotel room last year looked less than tidy.

You witty fellow! That's hysterical! That used to be one of my favorite shows. Aside from the fact that Oscar was such a grouch, I really did relate.:D My sister was a total Felix! She put a line of tape down the middle of our room. I'm a bit more skilled in house keeping than I was back then... I think.

Wow that is early planning! Guess someone's excited. :p
I actually called MDA last week for the dates. They said they haven't been firmed up yet. Dr. P has to put in for his vacation time now because they make up the call schedule a year in advance.

You know, I just thought of a benefit of not being a neat freak. I really don't mind when someone spills red wine all over my shirt, or any one else's for that matter.;):D

LOL! Hard to explain that a husband spills wine all over his wife's shirt...but she wasn't the one wearing it, eh?
Let's just say that I can speak for M's stain-removal talents.

I am excited!! I can't wait to attend WSSC next year. But I want to have my ducks in a row, my t's crossed, my i's dotted, and to be on the top of people's roomie list.
I suppose I could pick up after a sloppy roommate....If you wanted me to....
I know about wine stains... a little too well....
Well, heck, without getting too personal, let me know via pm if you want to share a room at WSSC in 2008. Even if you aren't positive about your plans. :)

I am seriously considering going and this w/b my first (rookie.....). I will def. need a roommate, just a little too far in advance for me to totally commit at this point.
Just to keep in mind for future reference.
P.S.: Wouldn't call myself a "neat freaK" but def. not a slob!!!!! (and I don't snore!!!)

Oh I'm still around, checking in when I can! I feel guilty for not being an "active" forumite! It was a fast and furious summer - Jon and I have been riding with our local cycling club and have been riding outside as much as possible. The Samurai is excited - he's dropped several pounds and now I have a hard time keeping up with him!
He should be lean & mean by WSSC 08!

Hey T, Glad to hear you and the Samurai are doing well. It's great when you stop by.
Hey you guys...weren't we going to try and get together? What happened with that? Love to you both!

MISS you guys! YES we were and Jon and I more than once said "we need to get in touch with Mr & Mrs Pink"! Where did the summer go? Jon was online at Mr P's website and was showing me the Japan trip - LOVE the pink kimono!
Well, maybe we can still catch up before WSSC 08!
Love ya!

Hi Bob! I haven't forgotten all me WSSC friends - nice when we can catch up in cyber land! I've been busy mentoring with a new instructor - she's taking her Spinning cert tomorrow morning and has hopes to come to WSSC 08.

That's really great, I'm sure with a mentor like you she will do well. Encourage her to tap into all the information her online. Lots of good tips for music and profile, but you already know that.
Well, maybe we can still catch up before WSSC 08!
Love ya!

OK, it's a deal, I promise to be in touch.

T, wish her good luck from me - I'm sure it's the person I'm thinking of. Also, tell her she needs to pace herself at WSSC, especially after DCAC...... :D
