I've heard little bits & pieces about this but never really tuned into the event. Exactly what is it? On the way to Canada, we left home at 4:30 and were having b-fast at the Blue Colony Diner in Newton, CT by 7:30. Not far at all.

If Deb and Doug will have me back (and Amilee is willing to provide another exciting Jeep ride from LAG) I think I have the date open.

By the way - Have they set a date?

Seriously folks - if you haven't been to a SO - it's one of those things you have to do before you die. It's a first class event; very well organized by a lot of cool people (who I call friends) and they raise a heck of a lot of money every year to beat up on cancer. I still get verklemped whenever I think about the final hour from last years ride.

It flashes by pretty quick, but I think there's a picture with Cheeze in it on the Spin Odyssey web site. No mention of a date for the event though.

ok, i'm going to make another attempt to get there in 2008! i promise to stay off of my bicycle (well the mountain bike at least,) for a few weeks before the event to avoid injury this time!

So, I am originally from CT (a town close to Norwalk), and my personal trainer from home works at the gym where its hosted.

Now that I know some of the people doing the ride, I might be more likely to be willing to join in.

So, my question is, does anyone have a slot on your team? And when is the event so I can cross it off my calendar!

The site does not seem to be updated for 2008. I will wait patiently.

In the mean time, if anyone from IC is on a team and looking for another teammate, let me know!

I wondered the same thing. When is the event? I don't see an update for 2008. Danielle, JFK, do you guys know the dates?
