Thiis is just a total gut wrenching movie, which I had waited a while to watch, probably because I wanted to watch it on a plane, so if I started crying, it would be checked off to the high alittude. So, you have to cry at this movie, and it's really an important story about team sports and what good can come of the most horrible events.
Now..if you rent the DVD in the special features section of the menu, you get an insight into some of the greatest team coaches in all of sports, including Bobby Bowden (who plays a key role in the Marshall comeback story in a surprise plot twist), Pat Summit, Lute Olsen, and the iconic John Wooden. I highly recommend sitting and listeng to these people talk about their life's philosophies and how they treat people. John Wooden is probably the wisest man ever to coach anything, never mind the greatest winner ever in college basketball. If you wonder what you can learn as a group ex instructor, Wooden begins each season by explaining to his players how to put on sweat sox properly and how to lace up your sneakers. For those who wonder what this means in relation to your classes, remember, if John Wooden thinks that proper sox lead to fewer blisters and foot pain. Now think about coaching proper form, proper bike set-up, and weraing proper apparal. I model my business acumen by keeping everything at it's simplest levels and keeping explanations of everything to 2 sentences or less. I really reaomend watching the movie for inspiration and the special feature for some non-Oprahesque life lessons.
