She made me:

cut da squash into cubes
steam da squash
put in bowl
whip da squash
add organic soy or rice milk to da squash
add organic brown sugar to da squash
whip da squash

eat hot mashed squash and squirt it out the spaces of
your teeth.

Yum - For Donna and Jules - as requested

No, Lewey makes it, in fact, Lewey does most (i'm being generous, ALL of the cooking in the abode of the tragically aerobic).

There are seldom any quantities in my recipes, heres how you do it.

The butternut squash is big and perverse looking, buy a big one.

Cut it, thats the pain in the bum.

After steaming it until a fork goes into it and turns it into mush put it in a bowl and add about hmmm, 1 "glug" (thats the noise it makes coming out of the carton) of a healthy milk like product.

And lastly, the brown sugar,...start with a heaping tablespoon, or two.

When you mix it, I use a electric hand mixer, watch the consistancy, you want it creamy, without being too loose.

Or you could cheat - look in the frozen section at the supermarket - cubed butternut squash. Always ready - no chopping and cutting required - time saved for exercising...

Man it is so good knowing that I am not the only DH that does 95% of the cooking in the house and better yet seldom follows recipes as written.. Oh that would really be boring! If I didnt cook, we'd be having frozen something or another....and I wouldnt be thin...or eating.

I eat pretty much gluten free as does my son. Let the Sherlock's of you figure that one out.
