This is so my cat. I deal with this every morning.

Now I know why the bat is under the bed:D

Too funny! Our cats must be twins.

ROTF! We go through this every morning...around 5 a.m. Lizzie tortures my son, so he locks her out of his room. Then she bangs on his door with her paws (honestly, I can hear her). So he once again, gets out of bed and locks her in our room, where she proceeds to whack at my head. I eventually get up, feed her and before I pour my coffee, she's finished eating and she's off for a nap!

Goodness, though, I love this stupid cat!

Very funny Raff, good to know you're a cat person, too. That reminds me of my old cat Calvin. Fortunately the new cats Yin and Yang aren't on that 5 a.m. feeding schedule.

Don't you mean "aren't on that 5 a.m. feeding schedule YET.":D

I am ninety nine percent sure that this is my cat. From 6am in the morning till 9 pm at night she lives in the sofa (literally) located in our living room.

My cat (I have 3 but it is only one who needs a lesson in etiquette) usually gets thrown out of the bedroom at like 5 am, at which point he proceeds to hurtle himself at the door until wake-up time. They are so smart. I think he is literally hurtling himself at the doorknob and knows full-well that that is the way in. I am going to lose it the day he succeeds.

I have bi-fold closet-doors that 2 out of the 3 can quite easily open them on their own, one who has no problem opening cabinets (I had to put a lock on the one that contains the cat food) and 2 who can open the drawer in the bathroom from behind. One seeks out Q-Tips and the other seems to think my blush brush is some form of "wild animal".

In love them dearly and are members of the family.

Love it! We were eating dinner one night and one of our little buggers jumped up onto the table, grabbed a stalk of broccoli right off of my son's plate and then hightailed it up the steps. We sat there dumbstruck, it happened so quickly we had no time to react. What cat likes broccoli?

This is mine as well! He is like clockwork though, 5:10 every day, no matter what.

My boy loves animal crackers (well, just the legs off them).
