Warning: Only the most anal amongst us needs to read any further :D

I've been working on organizing my music files in mixmeister (attempting to figure out all those "track 1's, unknown albums" etc.).

For example, all the Spinning CD's are a mess, some are listed as:

Spinning Volume One
Spin, Vol 1
MDA #1

So I'm changing them so they are all the same. I've started retyping the info: Spinning Vol 1, Spinning Vol 2, etc.

MM organizes them as:

Spinning Vol 1
Spinning Vol 10
Spinning Vol 11
Spinning Vol 2
Spinning Vol 3

Any way to get them to list correctly? I know, I've got entirely too much time on my hands but this kind of stuff irritates me.

the only way I can see you getting what you want is to spell out the numbers as one, two three etc..or change them to A, B, C, D,

MM is designed to list the titles in binary order so you will always get that Vol 1, Vol 10, Vol 12, etc..

I've given up on listing TRACKs unless I can figure out the real title. Often times the real title will show in Media Player when it wont in MM. Just a freak thing perhaps?

Pink,
Do it the way Rick suggests...., if you really want to be anal you could do it by the year they were released. :D
