A wonderful little book by Paulo Coelho. It is a quick read, and I was sorry it was over so quickly. Really a delightful book. :D

My only fear is that his other books won't be as amazing....

One of my all-time favorites....I've read a few by him, and all of them have moments of enlightenment, but none has really struck me like that. Although, that was the first I'd read by him. It really makes you think though!

A description of this book just does not do it justice. Trust me, all the reviews saying this is a gem of a book were not wrong. :D

I think you will enjoy it because it is well-written (the words just disappear behind the story) and simple, yet, as Amy said, it makes you think (yet demands nothing).

Does that help? :)

Great book--I had to read it for Business School.

If you liked jonathan livingston seagull. you'll like it. Is that a fair comparison?

Our re-telling the story would really take away from the point of the book, methinks. It is a quick and easy read (unfortunately quick...it was one I wished would go on much longer) and one well worth tracking down. It's one of the few books I will actually keep forever.

A friend of mine recommended it a while ago. I bought it and put it in my stack of "must read" books. Hmmm...maybe I should put it at the top of the stack.

More than fair comparison, as a matter of fact I just read this under the reccomendations here and thats all that kept running through my mind. It was alot like Johnathan Livingston Seagull. Sort of hitting a sore spot for me for personal reasons. Long story.
