Sometimes it's better to be blissfully unaware. Did anyone catch the expose on hotel bathroom glasses?

Blissfully unaware is not such a bad thing, but I'm glad that I'm aware now. Thanks Steve.

Saw the lemon and the hotel bathroom glasses thing as well. Not touching anything anymore. I have made sure to leave out the lemons. Will do that on my own should I desire a lemon in my water.

What about the lemons that are in Pledge? Aren't we supposed to have a shine on our furniture that is lemony fresh?

What about the kids selling lemonade on the corner? They're terrorists now?

Now the ER's come alive with lines of people suffering from sliceoflemonitis?

There are bacteria everywhere and we have normal immune systems to much of this.

Now the next time I have a Ketal 1 with a lime or lemon rind, I will toast all of the germophobes everywhere. There must be something at all times, either a person, a country, a germ, an organization, the media, a liberal or a conservative, or someone to fear. Now lemons...Citrusophobia.

Take 2 Sweetarts and call me in the morning.

Hi. My name is Lori and I'm a germaphobe. Please toast me during your next Ketal One encounter.

I'm not a germaphobe. I figure if growing up on the mean streets of Philly didn't kill me, not much else will. Not to belabor the issue but if there is fecal matter on the lemons, how about the glass? The plates with the food? All those things are probably handled by the same sources. The guy slicing the lemons is probably slicing the pickles or shredding the lettuce.

Like I said, it's better to be blissfully unaware.:D

So they just aired a segment on CBS news this morning. Yes there are all kinds of bacteria on the lemons but the average person will not get sick from them, and no alcholic drinks (most of them) will not kill off the bacteria. So forget what's on the lemons and just drink....LOL

I guess I'll have to get my CSI kit out and inspect my food, hotel glasses, oh and don't forget the sheets. Never know what will turn up.

I have a friend that will bite into every piece of bread roll just so restaurants can't serve them again. They pour coffee or soda in their salads and water glasses. My question to her is how does she know that none of the food she was served came from another table?

Someone could drag my food across the floor, step on it, use it to mop up isle three at the grocery store, and I would eat it as long as I didn't witness the abuse. So with a little blind faith, I'm hoping that nothing like this happens to my food.

Blissfully Unaware - the way to enjoy life.

...and no alcholic drinks (most of them) will not kill off the bacteria. Yech. That's some strong-a$$ bacteria. Muscle-man bacteria. I think I saw them in the gym lifting weights. I spit on them..:-)
