My computer is now dead. Long live Bill Gates. Like any boyscout, I've backed up my music on an external hard drive and I have a new computer waiting with huge mirrored hard drives and Itunes that contain some of my music/playlists on it. Now, I need to import 14 Gigs of mp3's to my new computer. What is the least painful way of doing this. I have a $20 coffeebucks card for anyone who can help.

I really meant to say back into my Itunes on the new computer

I'm giving it an "office space" funeral
Check your pm, we just did all that.
Thanks Mary

Rich,
Hook up your external to your new computer, I'd suggest a firewire or USB 2.0 connection. Under the file menu is an option "Add to Library."
Select that option, browse to your external drive and it should suck all the songs right into you iTunes library. I can't guess how long 14 gigs will take...maybe an hour?
