Unfortunately this movie stinks. The premise of Indiana Jones being 60 yrs old in 1957 is what you're supposed to buy into. Then you learn alog the way he gave birth to a son who loks like either The Fonz or One of the guys from Grease. Kate Blanchett plays a sword fighting/martial arts wielding/KGB female agent, if you can believe one of those existed in 1957. It gets worse and worse.

I really liked all the Indy movies. This is dumber than stupid. Save your money and gas.

Not even an updated soundtrack worth exploring??

It's the same music they played in the 80's, which is good, but the rest of the film is a complete mess.

It almost seems like the made up a name for the movie, "The Crystal Skull", and just wrote a story as it went along. With about 25 bad "old guy" jokes ("Faster Grandpa"!!), a hundred cliche lines ("I told you not to follow me here"), and a greaser kid who is a master fencer and rides a Harley, this is one stupid scene to the next.

I love Spielberg, but after "AI", and "War Of The Worlds", adding this stinker to his resume starts to make me wonder if this guy has stayed on a little too long.

Thanks for the heads up AC, but unfortunately I have NO choice but to see it tomorrow. It's all my 8 yr old boy has been talking about since March, and no matter how horrible/unrealistic the plot may be, he will no doubt think it's the best movie he's seen since.....Narnia 2 (just a week or so ago).....or IronMan (last month)....etc...and the list goes on and on....
So 20 bucks and 120 minutes I won't be back!

When my middlest was about 8 I paid a sitter to take him to the movies I couldn't stand to see (Yugio movie anyone?) While it's fun to see a kid mesmerized, there are some movies I just can't take.

My 13 yo said it was good (this is his first Indiana Jones movie) except for the lame ending.. Glad I took a pass on this one.
