Hi all,
I'm excited to be able to take the Spintensity: Periodization workshop this weekend in Lake Bluff, IL. (STAR 3 exam, here I come!)
Has anyone else out there taken it, and if so, what is your impression of it? Is there a ride involved, or when you took it (or maybe taught it), was it only a lecture.
Thanks!
Kathy
Kathy, I took it a long time ago and if I am remembering correctly, there was a ride after the lecture. If you are pretty versed in the principles of periodization, you won't learn anything new...however, if not, you will. As you said, you need to complete the class before you can take the STAR 3 test. Have fun. You can always come away with something, even if it's just another way to say something. Enjoy!

Thanks Pink, that's good to know. A ride with an MI will make it really useful. I always take away great info, techniques, and tips from an MI ride.
Now I'm really looking forward to it!

Kathy the course is outdated, so keep an open mind when you take it and ask a lot of questions. I'll never understand why MDA made that be the "recommended" course for STAR 3 and never bothered to update it.

Thanks, L2B, for the info. I will try to arrive armed with lots of good questions.
