If you're a Beatport fan/user, you'll like these. Beatport has a few 30 minute Podcasts with samples of music done by genre. You can sample new releases before buying. They're on ITunes.

Mix these with some of the others offered and recomended like Dance Department 38 with Denis Ruyer and you have a lot of free reference materiel for researching Electronic/Dance genres.

The June 18th Beatport Burner is devoted to Gay Pride Music
and is the best Burner I have heard in months. Plus when I
clicked on a link I was brought to a Beatport site with a sample CD, 10
songs free for the DL. I bought 4 or 5 songs and grabbed 5 off the free
DL. They are long, 8 minues which is my upper limit for a song but all
very spinable
