So I just tried to burn a playlist and iTunes is not letting me burn the entire list. The playlist is 50 minutes and the blank disc I put in is an 80 minute disc. I've burned this playlist before with no issue but now when I click burn disc I get a message that says....

"The songs on this playlist will not fit on one Audio CD. Do you want to create multiple Audio CDs with this playlist split across them? This will require more than one CD to complete."

Huh? 50 minute playlist. 80 minute CD. I've burned this playlist once before with no issue. I even thought maybe there was something wrong with the blank CD I put in so I opened up a new package of CDs and tried one of them and got the same message.

Anyone ever have this issue and know what to do?

Time to go digital and save some CD trees from being cut down. Use your Iplode or MP3 player and a patch cord. Nothing like having all your music with you and saving time on burning CD's as well as the compact size of a digital music player.

Then I would suggest getting the latest version and reloading it over the top of the one that is giving you trouble.

That's where a second iPod comes in. ;) Seriously, a shuffle is cheap and you can set it to play your songs in order (as opposed to shuffled). You just have to update it to the playlist you are using for a particular class. Or use what's on there if there's an emergency. I have a big iPod and a nano I got for free when I bought my laptop. Oh, and a shuffle too.

I've been doing digital for so long I can't remember the last time I burned a CD.
