I am so upset - my computer crashed with about 3900 songs set up in my itunes library with individual playlists in which I use for when I teach spin. Luckily the technician that worked on my computer saved my music and placed it in my hard drive disc D so when I re-downloaded itunes my music came back. Question: How do I get back my individual playlists? And is there anyway I can put them back from my ipod to my itunes library? Please let me know - thanks PS:AC I know you are very knowledgable - I need your expertise - thanks, Spunkee

Oh I wish I could help but I don't use iTunes for making playlists. Hope you get your answers.

Do you have the playlists on you iPod? If you do that's good.
If you have a Windows PC, go to this link:
http://home.comcast.net/~teridon73/itunesscripts/index.html (http://home.comcast.net/%7Eteridon73/itunesscripts/index.html)
Download the iTunes script called: itunes_ipod_playlist_to_itunes
If you have a Macintosh go to this link:
http://dougscripts.com/itunes/scripts/searchTheScripts.php
Download the iTunes script called: Mirror iPod Playlist in iTunes
If you don't have the playlists on you iPod, hopefully you've got them written down somewhere, but you'll have to recreate the from scratch.

I hope it works out Spunkee,
I know the Mac script works, since I use it all the time. I just assume the PC script works the same way.

I can download the script for you and email it to you, if you'd like....
I downloaded the PC scripts to my computer, PM me with your email address and I'll send them to you. Let me know if you need the Macintosh script, instead, I already use that one and have it on my computer.
