I am once again committed to Riding for Research for the next two months. It is a great 2-6 hour cycling event that raises money for the MACC Fund (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer). Since 2001, we have raised close to $750,000! In the past I have been a presenter and trainer, but this year I will be focusing on just training people and participating. Despite the money we raise, this event is awesome for turning indoor exercisers into outdoor athletes. Many people after this event think "I could ride the Trek 100 or run a half marathon or do a tri." It is great!
