I have wanted to do that to some people on the bike corridor. But that is just not right. Strip him of his license.

We (inlcuding myself) are all quick to defend the rider who got thrown down and to lambast the rider who apparently threw him down, but part of that ire is due to the over-excitement of the announcer - he didn't even see a replay. Theo Bos would not have purposely pulled down Impey (in yelow) and take himself down at the same time, which is what happened. He didn't mean this to happen - if so, then he was knowingly hurtling himself to the ground!

The cycling community is up in arms about what happened...but one thing is for certain, Phil and Paul would not have gotten as hysterical as the announcer in the video here! I think they would have waited for a closer eval of the replay.
