Anybody here doing something for Livestrong Day? I am hosting our 2nd Livestrong Day at our club. Whew! In way over my head again but this year I have a committee to help. We are having gym wide events including 2- Spin marathons, Group personal training, Sports conditioning sessions and Zumba for Livestrong. Last year we raised over $3500.00. This year is anybodys guess.

So in our first day of raffles for Livestrong Day we raised over $700.00 Thats not counting the events going on at the gym. Kind of pysched! Thought this year was gonna suck but now I'm mildly optimistic! PS. I think I'm talking to myself since none of you responded to the first post but thats OK. Im considering it my own Livestrong Day blog on Innercycling.

That's awesome Sandy! Sorry about not responding to your original post. I somehow missed it! Shows that even in a slow economy people are still generous and willing to help out a wonderful cause. You are awesome for doing this--THANK YOU.

They are the best! How do you like the older man up front? 81yrs young and 2 hrs was nothing for him. His wife is in the shot too. I am in front and not the blond and not the man I was just refering to. I look better on most days!

THIS is an 81 year old inspiration! I don't think I would have done this at any age.
